A comfortable lace bra
A non-wired bra in organic cotton into which you can slip our washable and reusable absorbent nursing pads.
Ultra-comfortable, it adapts to size and cup changes during pregnancy, after childbirth and several months post-partum. Covered in sublime geometric lace, they'll make you look your best.
The nursing pad revolution
Our compatible pads incorporate the absorbent, waterproof technology of Elia period pants.
They attach easily to the inside of the bra, so they're impervious to your movements and prevent the pads from shifting. No leaks when your milk comes in!
A post-mastectomy bra
Our bra is also suitable for women who have had a mastectomy or breast surgery, thanks to the comfort of all-cotton in contact with the bust, the absence of underwiring and its easy-access front closure.
A prosthesis can then be discreetly slipped inside the wrap-around bra, in a dedicated pocket to hold it in place. All with a look to die for, thanks to geometric lace!
Our tips for preparing for baby's arrival!
Whether you're pregnant or have just given birth, our maternity pack is here to help you make the most of this life-changing experience.
FAQ: the main questions you ask us every day about breastfeeding and our products
How to choose a nursing bra?
The first days of breastfeeding are often the most difficult. Your breasts can grow up to 3 sizes! So opt for a supple nursing bra that adapts to your changing body shape. We chose ours without underwire, in organic stretch cotton. It's very comfortable and will adapt to the evolution of your breasts as your milk comes in. It can even be worn at night with its nursing pads, without disturbing your sleep.
How do I prepare for childbirth?
To best prepare for childbirth, we recommend that you take the birth preparation courses offered by your midwife or maternity hospital. We also have articles and podcasts on the subject here.
Can I use menstrual pants if I've had an episiotomy?
Yes, in fact, health professionals are increasingly recommending the use of menstrual briefs in the post-partum period, as their absorbent, breathable properties and the organic cotton used mean better healing and greater comfort.
Can I use a pregnancy bola when I'm breastfeeding?
During or after breastfeeding, you can wear your pregnancy bola and let baby play with it, under the strictest supervision of course! The sound of the bola will bring back memories of your pregnant belly. The bolas will calm and reassure your baby. The sound of the bola will help your baby to calm down and assimilate the first meals calmly, and will facilitate milk absorption. Make sure you choose the right bola for your baby's sensitive skin, and that it's totally safe!
Can I breastfeed if I've had an epidural?
Yes, breastfeeding is perfectly possible when you give birth with an epidural! Several studies show that epidurals are not implicated in breastfeeding failures.
Can you breastfeed after a mastectomy?
Yes, it's possible to breastfeed if you've had one breast completely removed following breast cancer, for example. However, in the case of a double total removal of the breasts, i.e. a double mastectomy, it will be impossible to breastfeed.
Between 300 and 500 women a year are affected by breast cancer during pregnancy and/or while breast-feeding.
How do my breasts change during pregnancy?
During pregnancy, your breasts will change almost as much as your belly will grow! From the very first weeks of pregnancy, right through to delivery and beyond, your breasts will be put to the test. They'll be yo-yoing too! From the first trimester onwards, your breasts will be more sensitive and will get bigger. This is perfectly normal, as it's a reaction to the changing hormone levels in your blood. During the second trimester, your breasts can gain between 0.5 and 1.5 kilos! The pigmentation of the skin around your nipples and their width will also amaze you! At the end of your pregnancy, your breasts may produce a small amount of yellowish liquid, which is perfectly normal: it's colostrum!
That's why we've developed an ultra-innovative nursing bra that adapts to every day of your pregnancy, as well as to your post-partum period. You can even wear it when you're not breastfeeding, as it's an unrivalled asset in terms of comfort and seduction!
